Moderator Announcement: Alan Barrie – Chair at Delivering London/YEEP! lockers and Chair at Stamp Free

We are delighted to announce that Alan Barrie the Chair at Delivering London/YEEP! lockers and the Chair at Stamp Free, will be moderating at WMX Europe in June.

Alan is a high-profile industry influencer and innovator with over 30 years senior executive experience, leading change in the eCommerce and postal logistics sectors.

As Royal Mail’s Operations Design & Strategy Director he developed the parcel delivery structure which remains the UK’s environmental benchmark. More recently he extended his experience into cross-border eCommerce as Operations & Technology Director for International Post Corporation (IPC) based in Belgium. Building an eCommerce platform linking 185+ markets globally into a single, integrated entity was an exercise in technology infrastructure development at scale and complex international stakeholder management.

Back in the UK Alan is now focused on accelerating sustainable solutions into the eCommerce sector, specifically relating to first mile accessibility and reducing last mile consumption levels, initially advising Transport for London on the impact of parcel growth in the capital. He is currently Chair of Delivering London Ltd which has just launched the YEEP! open locker network in the UK and Chair at Stamp Free, the label free tech company in his native Scotland.
